63c-10----I was at my neighbors one day and tripped over the Mac 300, he said it was yard art. that got me started on restoring saw's.

1963c-10--never was a tree climber, but was a pole climber for 30yrs. the EZ saw is the same as the one my Dad had back in 57. remember cutting wood with it in the 60's.

Re: 61K10 build
Gonna be a great timeline to watch! So, what did you do with the old 235 I-6, when you swapped it out for the V-8? Just curious?
|
Re: 61K10 build
Hey 61K10 glad to see your build, Maybe I'll get motivated on mine, waiting for the weather to break, as it's outside...Love that color..
|
Re: 61K10 build
63c-10--I thank the ez runs a 404 all my saws are 404 except the 35A which has a 7/16 or something like that.
Mitch--tk had the 305 in it when i bought it. the reason i know it was a 6 is the ft eng mount was cut off the front and re-welded on the rear of the x-member. |

Re: 61K10 build
Progress, progress, I like the outdoor garage too if the weather is nice...
|
Re: 61K10 build
Nice work on those bedsides! Are you running stock leaf springs on your K10? I really like the stance of the pic of the rear. It shows good clearance!
I had mine rebuilt and opted to stay with the original height & clearances. Hopefully, it'll look that good. If not, I may have to go back and add a leaf. |
Re: 61K10 build
I agree, nice work on the bedsides. I still need to find some of the e-z-steps for the fleetside. They are scares when looking for them and everywhere when I didn't have a fleetside.
|
Re: 61K10 build
Mitch--I have 2 more leafs in the rear, built like over-loads. they only raise it about 3/4"
63c-10 they come up on e-bay now and then |
