Interested to see your write up. The 6 month warranty seems a little low but they are pretty cool....

Agreed . For $189.99 ... I would hesitate with only 6 months warranty . Like many other square owners , I don't drive my truck that much and 6 months wouldn't prove they will last .

Re: New LED tailights available - in catalog

Cool. I think I paid $140 or so for the retrofit LED kit on my 77 that didn't even have new lenses, so this seems reasonable. Note the price is less than the manufacturer's direct price or LMC's seemingly comparable new item. Looks good. Will it fit in a flat rate box with the 3 gauge pillar pod?

I think this will go well with the jeep headlights and I'm very interested. When do you think you'll have that write up posted? I have a few hot dollars sitting in my paypal that hasn't been used;)

Working on the write-up, but they are super simple to install. The most involved in routing the new wiring from one side to another.

Captkaos, did you ever get around to this write up? I'm on the fence about buying a pair because I just want a little more info on them.....

Just bought them about a month ago! I love them!! they look really nice. The only thing is, you need to buy some resistors because you are switching your lights to LEDs. Otherwise, they will blink really fast. They are definitely worth it though!!!

Switch out your blinker to an electronic one under the dash and problem is solved.

Cool. I've been waiting for someone to speak on them before I made the jump. You have any info on the resistors needed?

I just got some 50W 60hm LED load resistors from amazon.com. They are pretty easy to install. you just connect the wires and mount the actual resistor on your truck somewhere. The lights are also east to install and you can switch the way they flash and stuff. Really cool!!

It comes with a new flasher. When you install it, the lights just light up but don't flash. This is why you need resistors. Solves the problem.

This is a video I just took at night. I have no idea why anyone needs resistors, everyone I have install works as designed and shown in the video.

On my truck the flashing is inconsistent and it flashes too fast. I guess it depends on your truck. I'm curious though, did you put in the new flasher that came with it?

Then someone has a wiring issue somewhere. The flasher it comes with is supposed to take away the need for the resistors.

Right now I have about 12 non chrome and 8 Chrome.
You can purchase them here:
http://store.73-87chevytrucks.com/me..._Code=7387Beds

And they are not sold without the lenses as they are a kit.
