I have a hard time believing it. Even if it's true it dones to really matter considering what it looks like. But certainly worth the asking price :-)

The engine is exactly one year younger than me! Not sure on miles but a lot of the bigger trucks didn't get a lot of miles. If I was closer I would be on it like a duck on a Junebug!

Personally, unless mileage can be documented (i.e. consecutive repair orders showing mileage history or registration inspections, etc.), I NEVER believe any mileage on any vehicle with only 5 digits in the odometer. They could have been rolled multiple times and you'll never know. Don't get sucked into these "low mileage" ads.

You can also look at other key details. A big one is the rubber pads on the pedals. A true low mileage truck/car will show slight wear but be close to new. Most over 75,000 will look warn out. Paint on the steering wheel, areas where the keys rub when driving, seat material, etc., etc.

It's all in the details. Looking at this one, I bet rolled once or more on the odo.

What Mike said. Seats don't start tearing w/ so few miles, and the brake pedal pad is gone.

also look at the door panel armrests-seen a lot of use for 18k miles-it is nice truck for the money

Ive been watching this truck. Its a re-post, not 7 days old.
About a month or older, figured it was to good to be true, a scam or FUBAR.

I've seen this one before also. I too tend to doubt "low" mileage on 5 digit odometers but if this was a farm truck, I have seen worse wear on low mileage trucks. It looks as if it spent most of its life outdoors and as Mock1 can attest, central/south Georgia is hot and humid in the summer (which seems to last from April to late October) and it takes its toll on paint and interior components.

Yeah, really. It's humid here year round. The only state where you turn your heat on in the mornin and ac in the afternoon, with 80% humidity all day.

Well its headed to sc. Truck is the real deal don't think it has a single dent. Cab is super nice
Runs w gas poured in carb. Older guy that has known the truck since new and is a legit 18,000 mile truck will post pics tmrw. Unmolested truck and a deal at $1800

We had several of these C30s in the 60s and 70s on the farm with less mileage and far worse condition. Great buy!

Im jealous of you South Carolina folks as you have some good junk yards and my very favorite band is from there and I cant get up there enough . The band is Silver Travis Band for anyone interested ,good old southern bluesy rock .

Really? Worth every penny? With the wear it is showing on the upholstery and the pedals you know the ad is a lie. What would you do if you bought that thing only to discover that pristine 18,000 mile body has rust holes at the sills and rear cab the size of footballs that were stuffed with newspaper and burlap; bonded over then sanded and painted to look "just like an original 18,000 mile truck"? I have seen that very type of repair done by the "King Of Bondo" in Melbourne FLA.

The had has at least one lie in it. If you want to find out just how many more the owner is willing to tell, buy it and get ready to feel cheated. Never, Never do business with someone who will lie over something that small.

Wow! I have to agree it doesn't look like an 18k mile truck to me either. But you're assuming a lot of things from looking at a few pictures. Like previously mentioned if that thing was a workhorse and never really hit the roads I could see if being in the condition it is.
