Check Amarillo craigslist about 8 days ago. Unfortunately the hood is in primer, but the fenders are green. C20 1972 (not mine)

Here is the hood I have! It's a GMC BUT THE CORRECT COLOR! Lol
There's some patina on one side more than the other but it's in great shape. It's dirty but if your still interested I'll take it up to the house and rinse it for you. I have additional pics if you want me to text them to ya or email either way.

Can you ship Greyhound or do you have a better idea? If so it would go to the Tyler, TX Greyhound Station.

I understand it is probably not worth the hassell at $75 for you to ship. We can wait and see what happens next month. I will know more from the insurance company by then. I will talk to you soon then. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

I hope I didn't come off wrong on that post. I will get you a quote for it. Sorry but I understand matching paint parts a some times more valuable than re-painted parts. Merry Christmas.

No sir you did not come off wrong at ALL. I just know it is a lot of work for little reward. You are correct in my case it is more valueable than a painted repop for sure.

I've bee thinking about getting a fed ex account, this might be a chance to test the savings. I've had a few pickups from people that had an account. It costs them like 80-120 depending on the distance. All the guys speedways leave it outside and sent me a sticker for it. I'll look into it this week.

BB72,

I have a nice driver side w/upper and lower trim holes. Am in Marlow, OK, not too far.

Cash,
See post #9, 3rd hood from the right, any idea what color that is? Am looking for 1970 GMC (see SPID). Not hijacking thread, but if you are able to bring 2 hoods to Tulsa, potential that I'm able to get BB72s also (if yours is a match to mine) and get it a little closer to him in TX.

Are you willing to arrange shipping from Junction City, OR?

I have the complete front clip from a 72. It is dark olive with upper trim only. It will come with inner and outer fenders, hood, hood hinges, core support, battery tray, complete grill with insert, new aftermarket bumper with OE park lights.

This will be for all nice sheet metal, no rot. May be pitted some in pass side front of inner fender/core support.

It will not come with wiring or radiator.

I am asking $1,450.00 for everything and will prepare it to ship but you will need to handle shipping from your end. The zip here is 97448.

I can take photos tomorrow if interested

Let me know,

Thank you,
Thomas

I just realized it has upper trim holes and I do not have the upper trim so I will pass.

I have this original 72 grill that is a little rough but complete and square should slid in $50. I still haven't made it to my buddy to see what he has but I should shortly.

If it is yours are you willing to crate it and ship Greyhound? I know it will be expensive but right now I have only found a GMC hood so there will be holes for the letters. I would possibly be interested in the fender even with the white. I might be able to patina paint over the white. I would be interest in the cowl as well so I could get a matching set. Is this the fender with the damage? Thanks KT
