67-72 Time Capsules

Factorystock suggested starting a Time Capsule thread based on a truck I shared for sale on ebay with only 29k mi. That's an excellent idea!

So, to keep this in the mindset of a good place to go for ref material, please post only unrestored, original condition, time capsules. No repaints. So, it may be a short thread, but that's ok. They don't have to be "too" pretty, they just have to be pretty much untouched and original. Share the SPID too if you have it. Would love to see more of JoesJunk's beauties on here!

I'll start off with the truck that spawned factorystock's suggestion:

71 C10 Cheyenne with 29k mi.

Here is another of my favorites - I don't think this is Joe's so will share. If this is a member's truck, please jump in!

70 C10 with 80 (yes, 80) miles.

a couple more. Anyway, hopefully that sets the tone for what we're looking for here, true time capsules. Few and far between. Looking forward to your posts!

A couple more, can't resist, love these original trucks. Holding off on one's I know are members, so they can post. On these last 2, I'm not sure if the owners are members - if so, my apologies, and please chime in and take credit for these incredible trucks!

And I think folks will recall this one - it has its own thread on here somewhere, but certainly belongs in the time capsule section!

67 GMC 3/4 ton, 32 miles.

Here's one that I have made a deal on but won't get it for awhile. It is a one family truck with about 90,000miles. I'm not too sure how much they used it in the early days, but it has only been used one month a year since the mid nineties. The current owner saves up all his "truck" type work for the month of August.

This is definately not a pristine super low mileage Truck. But I think it is one heck of a survivor. And the kind of truck that is incredibly hard to find around here.

Do Burbs count !!! The rims on the Burb were put on when this Burb was a year or two old. The owner still has original rims and hubcaps and original glove box door with spid.

Wow, all really nice but I'm partial to the 70 CST Black truck with factory overdrive and speed warning cluster.

Mines close I think, I believe it's had a reprint some where's back a way. The doors were never repainted. I need to reinstall the original engine, but that will be later this year. Right now it has the dro in crate 290 hp so it runs really good. I wish the previous owner would have left the original ac. He took it all out and bought the aftermarket type. But it's the nicest truck of that year that I have ever owned and it's really clean, very little rust..

All Ready Gone, I love that interior on the black truck u had. It's good to see the red.. Mines all black. Similar trucks when looking at them.. I have not seen many all black C 10 trucks out there. Most of them of two tone. There's probably a bunch, I just have not seen them.

Here is a 72 highlander that supposedly had very low mileage. Sorry. I don't have any more pictures.

Here ya go Tom - I always liked this Highlander, wish I could remember the mileage, but I think it was advertised as original. Hard to tell some times. LOVE the white/black paint trucks, especially with the available plaid colors, they all looked great with it. Never saw an orange plaid one though...
