WTB NOS Front Bumper
 

My front bumper was slightly damaged as the indirect result of a tornado - Does anyone have a NOS front bumper they are willing to sale? Just laying the ground work. Thanks :metal:

70cst, I must be getting old. Now I think it is a chevrolet nos bumper. I had a gmc and that is why I didn't use it. Will check tonight and let you know.

It had the gm sticker on it but the numbers are not readable. It does not have the parking light cutouts so that should make it a chevrolet. I can email you pictures if you want.

From what I can tell its looks like the correct bumper - what is the asking price - I am to meet with Hagerty Tuesday to give the Circuit Rider a damagedassessment.

Part of the process is to buy replacement parts ...

Yep - my truck really came out well considering. My back bumper is NOS so hopefully I can match the front bumper with a NOS.

NOS bumpers are far better than aftermarket bumpers from my experience. :metal:

Have a few beers, think about that tornado that messed up your truck, put on some welding gloves an pull!!!, you'll have a straight bumper in seconds.
I know you gotta deal with insurance, but have proof of OE bumper replacement.

So far communicating with Hagerty has been smooth - I will see how the meeting goes with the Hagerty adjuster this morning.

Sorry for this, and I need to ask for moderates help.* I am not a premium member so I was not suppose to post parts for sale.* I replied to 70cst, which I believe was ok.* I was not suppose to go beyond this and another member indicated that he would take the bumber before 70cst. Moderator...I don't know what i am supposed to do. Again, sorry for this and please tell me what the forum rules say I should do. Ithe seems I can mess things up real fast.

Rona, you can reply and sell to want to buy posts created by subscribing members. You are good to go ahead and sell the bumper to 70CST.

When I get a PM regarding a for sale ad I reply that they must reply in thread before being recognized as "in line". Keeps it all good with nobody thinking they were bumped from their place in line or the "I called dibs first" situation. I also believe an "I'll take it" trumps an inquiry.

Yes, all sales must be out in the open, otherwise sellers and buyers have no recourse if things go wrong. We need a trail to follow in order to help.
