Want to buy at least 1 or 2 of the complete frame mounted exhaust pipe hangers with all pieces for a '72 truck with a big block engine. Please PM with price/pictures. Thanks !

I have a complete set for coil springs
$245 shipped

From top to bottom
Under cab frame mounts
Above axle on crossmember mounts
Tailpipe mounts at rear of frame.

I have these extras
2 under cab for left hand side at top, one is flipped showing it could be used on the passenger side
2 above rear axle mounts.

Hi Randy,
Thanks for the reply - I don't have the coil spring rear axle and I don't need the entire set. I need the rear most set and the extras you have don't look like the (1) still in place on the drivers side - all the others except that rear most one on the passenger side are intact. I'll compare your pix to what I have tomorrow & Thanks !

Still looking for the Tailpipe mounts at rear of frame - I just need these (2). I am not looking to purchase the entire set.

I don't mean to hijack the OP's thread. But would these be '72 only? I'm curious if there is a difference in the earlier BB exhaust hangers, specifically in '68.

Not sure about this, he originally mentioned a coil spring rear which is not what I have - I'm not sure if there is a difference based on the rear suspension or just on what may be specific to '72 - or both. I'm also researching it myself.

Curious to see what the difference between coil springs and leaf springs. I guess I have the coil spring type.

Looking at the pics you sent they look like the under cab hangers according to the pics posted by the guy selling the set. I have had no luck so far as to determining whether there is a difference in the hangers between leaf or coil spring rear suspension. Maybe someone will clue us in.

Thanks Randy - so there definitely is a difference between LEAF and COIL spring exhaust hangers on a '72 Big Block C-20.

Yes, under cab are the same on leaf or coil, the rest are different. Tailpipe on left and right is interchangeable as is muffler hangar, I think. The band for the muffler which you will never find Should be the same by flipping it if offset.

Forgot about the 72 thing, I believe what I posted about leaf spring applies to 72 but not 100%.
My brackets are 72 only on the tailpipe ones.

72 big block hangars for leaf springs posted by an expert...I know him well and he knows his stuff, anything posted by Livrat or me can be relied upon.

I believe the above muffler and tailpipe hangars are symmetrical so can fit either side, I don’t have personal knowledge though,
It it’s not clear the above muffler hangar held a strap which went all the way around the muffler.

You need the stuff posted by Livrat for 1972 leaf springs, I also think those are for all years big block leaf springs.

I will add this, which I hope helps. I believe 4wd would be the same muffler and tailpipe hangars since all 4wd are leaf spring, if you post in the blazer section you might get some reponses. I’m assuming those 2 hangars are symmetrical and fit either side,

Thanks Randy and no problem on the slight bit of confusion - I know at least a handful of people now know more than they did last month on this subject. I will see what the 2 folks that think they have them have to say/post and go from there.
