I tried the search feature and got nothing .

I just took some pictures of a 1981 working rig, it looks good and works hard, daily .

O.K., there's a 1981 (I think) GMC G3500 that lives near me and works at least 5 days the week .

Sadly I wasn't allowed to upload the pictures due to not having a "token" whatever that is .

VWNate1, if your doing the pics on your phone or iPad. Your allowed the 5 pics, but everything time you add one, upload it, and then add another and upload each one until you get your 5 pics. That’s the way I have to do it when I’m on my phone or iPad, or I’ll get one of those token things. It will work, it just takes a little extra time.

I know there are lots and lots of still working square bodies but Massachusetts ?! .

That's my home state and I remember 1950's vehicles with gaping rust holes in three years because of the salt .

Like the C30 Utility. Had an 84 and an 87 that color when new. the 87 was a stick shift and FI. CC31003s with SRW option. 9 foot bodies.

My 77 the way I bought it. The bed was pretty rotted. I used it for a while and then built a new bed. Working on it a little at a time but it's a working truck:):)

Well, not mine or my dad's but a C-30 my dad has driven many times that is owned by a former boss of his and our current Landlord.

Has 454 in it. My dad used it many times hauling cars and trucks around for him.

FIL blew up his engine in the powerstroke, pulling another truck from az. rolled out with my trailer that has a hitch on the back and pulled the whole mess to my house to replace his engine. no problem with a cummins.

Here's an '87 k3500 a buddy of mine owns. The trailer in tow was somewhere in the 8,000 lb neighborhood.
