New to me 503 Green 67 Short bed
 

Here's me sharing the new purchase I found. Story was the 90 Yr old gentleman that owned it drove it occasionally and he passed so his daughters husband did some cleanup on it. The Power steering and brakes were added for creature comfort and the rest is as it was. I see they also added the brightwork/trim, and rims/tires for some flare.
Its a decent truck so I thought id share with you all.

It runs great and drive fine. I’ll do a few small things to make it more drivable but I’m excited to get it and enjoy it.

I knew it had a 6 in it, from first picture. A pretty common pickup, likely ordered by dealer for stock...(All my guesses...)

It's insane how nice an all original Chevrolet pickup looks. The factory folks knew what they were doing!!!

That's a sweetie for sure ! .

It's quite similar to my darker Green '69 C/10 .

Mine also had the power steering and TH350 transmission added using factory parts, I added a factory power brake booster and M/C .

I looked for over a year before fining a 6 cylinder powered truck .

I wish I knew and honest and competent shop in So. Cal. to finish it up for me .

Is it O.K. to ask the asking selling price ? .

I don't miss my ex wife one little bit, i still have my house and old jalopies :lol:

She's still burning her way through men who go by looks (my mistake) instead of learning what they're like first .


At 60 Y.O. she's still a cutie / hottie so she has some miles to travel yet .

I wish you were closer, I have a non running '69 C/10 shortie step side I dropped way too much $ into having the cab replaced, it doesn't run and I'm too broken down to get up under the dash and finish it, I'd trade you straight across for a running inline 6 banger as that's what I prefer for my shop truck .

Drive it and enjoy it ! .
