Backing up a few. This is what arrived. Basically, a windshield frame, a firewall, and a patched floor. Now we know exactly what it needs.

The Blazer community is fortunate to have access to all the sheetmetal required to bring one back. Looking forward to your progress.

The remnants left of the cab was media blaster to the white metal. Then a coat of epoxy primer was sprayed over the bare relic.

You can't. This is the result of spending hours trimming all the bad away what's left of the good.

Next a new rocker panel and rocker box for the passenger side was clamped in position and welded in place. From there, the firewall had its access holes covered with with pre design cover plates.

The welds were ground and dressed on the firewall filler plates. And then filler applied to smooth out the cosmetics.
From there a new bed floor was fitted into place, along with new bedsides.

This takes care of an initial fitting of the new sheet metal. Not bad, but things will need persuasion here and there. To get it all dialed in correctly.

Re: The Mueller 69 Blazer

What are the Blazer Tub measurements from mount to mount. For instance, the first tub mount to the second mount? The second Tub mount to the third Tub mount, and son on? I'm curious about this information. Thanks in advance.

It fits with some give and take persuasion. Just like all of the rest of the sheet metal.

With the first round of primer cured. This led to a long board and 80 file paper, to block sand the doors, fenders, and tailgate
This would reveal any other flaws or imperfections that might have been missed.
