High School Build #5

It’s been a while since we have built a truck
Well I found us another truck to build at school.
69 c10 long bed in hugger orange - it’s an original paint with patina and it’s gonna stay that way
I think this one will be a killer looking truck when we are done.

We bought a new bed floor because there wasn’t enough left of our old one to put it back together
We also bought a 71 short bed frame- so we didn’t have to shorten it - plus it done had an 80’s front crossmember in it
We put CPP springs, drop spindles and all new brakes on the front

I've enjoyed all the builds. You're a good man for doing this. 50 years down the road your students will still remember you. I still smile thinking about my old auto shop teacher. ;)

Glad to hear that she’s doing good. I was wondering the other day if you still had it and if you get it out much

It’s been a long time since I have posted anything but all you have missed is rust repair - rockers, cab corners and some cowl work
We set the motor in yesterday and put the cab on today
