For sale 1972 rust free 4 speed Blazer
I have decided to sell my 1972 rust free 4 speed Blazer. I am offering it here since so many have helped me over the years even though I “think” it would sell for more on BAT. I am asking $55,000 firm for the Blazer, soft top, rear seat as is as seen. The hard top was in rough shape, and I did not bring from Massachusetts when I moved to Florida. I do have the one from the blue Blazer, but it is in Mass and the buyer would have to make arrangements to get it. I strongly suggest seeing this Blazer it in person or having it inspected pre-purchase.
I have a lot of additional parts that could be included for an additional $5,000 for a total of $60,000. I will post details with pictures in a later post. It has a non-original 350 believed to be from 1970? 4 speed and the NP205. It can sit for months and after a press of the gas pedal, turn the key and it will start at a high idle. Press the gas pedal again after 15-30 seconds and it will kick down to a nice low idle. Since owning I have done the following, Stainless exhaust with steel stock mufflers, Red head steering gear, new windshield, restored wing windows, newport engineering wiper motor with delay control, M&H ATO fuse wiring harness and all related harnesses, restored tail, backup, and directional lights, Holly Retro bright LED headlights, Dakota Digital RTX gauges, Short tilt steering column, all locks including glove box keyed alike, new dash pad, NOS mirrors New 4X4 hub chrome rings and dials. Working radio with 6X9 speakers in boxes (did not want to cut anything). Under dash and glove box lights also work. The Blazer is not perfect but there is NO rot. I believe there were dings and small dents repaired before paint. The emergency brake even works. Most of these parts were purchased from form members and venders, https://i.postimg.cc/d16CvLTj/IMG-20...R-Original.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/G2KDrHsz/IMG-20...R-Original.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/zB7h5VRS/IMG-20...R-Original.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/y6mhQbGH/Front.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/br9QZZnZ/Passenger.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Gtxk44D7/Driver.jpg |

NOS inner and outer grill https://i.postimg.cc/xTDJXwKL/LS-VIN.jpg 4L60 rebuilt with advance adapters output shaft and associated parts to mate with an NP205 rebuilt by offroad design. Dirty Dingo cross member, BP auto harness that included all evap sensor and 4 O2 sensors (these can be programmed out). Re: For sale 1972 rust free 4 speed Blazer
Great opportunity to buy a solid Blazer !
I recently saw a Blazer built by a well known classic car dealer that looked like a million dollars, but had half the body filled with insulation expanding foam. It cost the buyer $100,000 plus ! Great deal for someone looking for a solid classic. |

Re: For sale 1972 rust free 4 speed Blazer
In one of the pictures, I noticed a missing rubber bumper at the bottom of the passenger B pillar. I put an NOS one I had in.
https://i.postimg.cc/4yggYFhd/IMG-20...-113806547.jpg I had a Holley rubber matt in the bed. I am reinstalling the carpet levelers, carpet, and rear seat. Still looking for the seatbelts, not sure if it had any? And the rear floor bare. https://i.postimg.cc/DwbBNfMP/IMG-20...-101849805.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/dVDzVKS1/IMG-20...-101857763.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/DwbBNfMP/IMG-20...-101849805.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/445Mv3Dy/IMG-20...-101910083.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/tCDjgkRq/IMG-20...-102611636.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/G2k0nJg6/IMG-20...-113752787.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/8588Yn40/IMG-20...-113811236.jpg |

Re: For sale 1972 rust free 4 speed Blazer
There are not too many of these left still wearing their original rockers and floors. I think the market is a little soft right now so I don’t really want to list it on bring a trailer. At the moment if it sells it sells. I may get a little more anxious to sell once I have my other blazer in the garage

I still think this is a good deal for somebody that’s looking for a solid rust free California Blazer.

Re: For sale 1972 rust free 4 speed Blazer
Would it make the drive back to New England?

Sometime in the next couple or a few months, I have to go up to Massachusetts to pick up my other Blazer. If everything fell in line, I possibly would be willing to deliver it? But I would insist on you coming to see the Blazer before any further discussion. |
