WTB: Nice pair of doors

Willing to pay up for extra nice, I know they don’t come cheap. I have a repop passenger door, don’t want aftermarket, looking for GM doors. Willing to travel within reason.

Try car-part.com. That is a nationwide link to the different salvage yards all across the USA. They can tell you how far the parts are from you and also have a grading system.

David Hosler - up in Michigan has a huge lot of SW parts / sheet metal. So, are you working a 1970 truck?

I thought Dave lived in Michigan. I drove up and met him a few years back to buy an NOS core support, RH outer and inner fender. I saw his ad on fb this week but it said he has useable doors, but nothing pristine. I will contact him thru the board and see what he has. Thanks for the heads up.

Your right, Michigan. You've been looking for a while. I know another in that area too, I'll check. If you ever get to Florida, I might could dig around and fine some.

Don't get by St Augustine often, but I might if I could find a nice set. I appreciate the offer.

You can also ask Desert Valley Auto Parts or one of the other yards out in Arizona. google it.

I’ve heard of Desert Valley, but I thought I had heard/read they were closed. I will check it out. Thanks.

You didn't say what year of doors you are looking 4. The 72 doors are different than the 67 - 71 doors. I have very good 72 right door and a fixable drivers door for a 72. I'd sell these as I found a complete set of rust free 72 doors. I'm in north central KS. PM me if your interested.

Re: WTB: Nice pair of doors

My truck is a '70 so I would need 68-71 doors, but I would not be opposed to '72 doors if they are rust/damage free. What condition are your doors in? Can you post some pics and let me know what you want for them?

I bought these doors in phoenix Arizona in the early 90’s for my 69 short bed. They have been in my shop all these years. They are off a 1970 truck. They do have some mirror screw holes & speaker holes the need welded up. No rot, just surface rust on the bottom door edge. $1000.00 for the pair

Thanks for posting pics. I am afraid shipping would be prohibitively expensive on those.

We are about 5-6 hours apart. I am not opposed to travelling, so I will keep this in mind.

Those look good. The only "demerit", if you will, is that I don't plan to use trim. Let me do some mileage figuring, etc, and I will let you know if I want them. If you were planning to sell them anyway, please don't wait for me to make up my mind. It will probably be after the holidays.

No hurry to sell, I have them all these years, just thought I would offer them to you. Was going to use them on my 69 short bed but used a 72 cab & doors.

I have a 1967 -71 driver's side door without trim holes, it did have west coast mirrors so there are the holes for that here in south west Florida.
It has rust from the sweaty arm out the window routine & some on the bottom.

Re: WTB: Nice pair of doors

I’d have to pass on that one. Looks like metal repair would be needed on that bottom section. Thank you for posting the pics.
