Not GM, ford axle ?

Anybody have experience with Ford's factory limited slips? My son has a 1997 F350 4x4 and he picked-up a rear axle with lower gears that also has a Trac-lock inside, just wondering if anybody has any experience with them.

very good units. what i have seen is they tend to have a problem with pinion bearings going out on the rear axle. seems if the owner didnt ever change the gear oil it seems to happen almost perfectly at just over 100k on them. it is a sterling 10.5" axle
