Re: GMT800 1999-2007 GM Fullsize light Trucks and SUVs FAQ
I have a 2003-4.3 silverado. The gas gauge will drop to empty, then go back to normal.Every time you start it the clock resets to 12.00. Going down the road seatbelt light comes and goes. When I first got the truck, starting it caused sparks to fly from the ground bar under back corner drivers side cab corner. I removed ground, cleaned and greased it and sparks stopped. If it sits for a week it will drain a redtop optima battery. When driving it shows over 14 on amp gauge. Any recalls on electrial on these trucks? TIA on any advice that might help.
