$30 carpet

1 Attachment(s)
2 rugs from Walmart, big one was 40x60, other was 24x36. $20 for the pair. I had the padding and glue.It is the same loop pile that the carpet kits come in. Rubber backing so it did not frey when I cut it. It is bound all the way around.

Nice work. A buddy and I did Home Depot indoor/outdoor carpet in his truck. I think it was about $30 for 2 linear yards. I think it was 8' wide, short loop pile and it worked awesome.

That looks good. Wish I would have thought of that. I used Lowes indoor/outdoor in gray in my 63. I could never figure out how to deal with the hump, so I just kinda left the "fold" there right under the dash, but I was never real happy with it.

fix your carpet hump by cutting on the right and left sides of the hump and tuck it under the carpet used for driver/passenger feet. Should be enough slack there to smooth it out better. It may even take a cut in the middle close to the firewall of the hump.
