yeah but whats the run down on doing this. is it somthing i need to completely dis assemble my engine for? can i do it with engine in the truck? main question, is it somthing my and my 60 year old dad can do in my garage?

Make sure with local laws you don't need an EGR valve, and order a custom chip for the increased airflow and to turn off the SES light (egr code)
