That is cool. Not sure how bad all the rust is but it looks like a lot. Just don't see stuff like that any more.

That's a cool one. I like that it has the smaller body for light trucks with rear fender extensions. Makes it more trim/less bulky. I saw you are from NOVA and was hoping that meant this thing was close to home. I was scratching a plan together till I saw it is in CT. Too much effort for right now... busy

Interesting how many (or most, or all) of those Milk Trucks have Wide Front Fenders, even though they don't have Heavy Front Axles.

Re: 1971 milk truck-WAY COOL
The rust is all in the milk truck body and down low. That wouln't be bad to cut out and repair. The front fenders look rust free, which is hard to find. Maybe they are full of bondo.

Maybe the wide fenders were a cowl & chassis thing, with school buses being the main focus.

They make it a better looking truck (or bus) as well, in my opinion anyway. Love those Wide Fenders, '60 to '72. Even though GM was bragging on the Narrow ones back in '63. |

Makes this one's rear tires look more tucked-in. Pretty tough looking little box with a handsome nose!
