I might have been the first to get tired of wagon wheels and maybe the first to realize they are actually right for these trucks...once you no longer saw them anymore. I wanted the look of a 4wd done in the '70s for my survivor '72 K/20. They look great on a deluxe 2-tone truck

Tim,
thanks man, now you've got me more confused than normal. i've got a set of 16 x 8 white spokes, a set of 16.5 x 8.25 stockers and a set of 16 x 7 E-350 wheels and trying to decide on which ones to put on my K20 suburban. i have a set of 285s for the 16s but i have perfect original hub caps for the stockers that already have old mud tires on them. decisions decisions .:fb::drama::dohh:

A couple of options:

1. Factory 16.5x8.25 Steel rims with factory chrome hub caps

2. GMT800 8 lug PY0's with factory chrome hub caps on the front. Still need to pick up the spacer for the rear to run those hub caps

Along the lines of special-k's old truck here is my first ever vehicle. My first 72, with 16.5x10 turbines and 38" Ground Hawgs. My dearly missed dad is in the picture. Truck rode like a tank with "soft ride" lift . I still loved the truck at the time. Will have to wait and see my shortbed build on the 17x10 slots with 37's.

These 16” wheels came on my 72 K20 when I bought it, I didn’t like them at first but I kind of like them now as they are in good shape for old wheels.

Here's a truck I got a little while ago and am planning to keep the original paint, fix the rust, lift it more and make it look like an early 90s built truck.
