Door Hinge bolt

Removed drivers side door hinge to rebuild it and 3 of the 4 bolts stripped the threads. Thinking I am going to tap the threads. Anyone know the thread size? I picked up son bolts from Brothers Tricks, but the seem to be a coarse thread and looks like mine were fine thread.

Where does everyone tend to order their hardware from? I've been pretty lucky that this place is close to me and I can either pick it up or it's here the next day. https://www.albanycountyfasteners.com/ But curious what other sites people use. Like I said, this one is simply convenient to me which is why I use them.

I went to Home Depot, when I could not find any 3/8-24 the guy said to check out McFadden Dale hardware. Not sure if it’s just SoCal, but they had two long rows of bolts. I only needed 3, but figured I’d replace them all...

A standard bolt head is taller than the factory hinge bolt's heads.

Normally you can find the SAE / fine thread bolts at ACE in the drawers above the regular bolt cabinets but will probably get a lot better price at Fastenal or another fastener or a hardware store that caters to commercial accounts. There is a kind of a hole in the wall hardware store about 20 miles from me that has a serious bolt supply at friendly prices. I've been hitting Fastenal for more of the bolts I need outside of the grade 5 I can buy bulk at ACE or get from the machine shop in town.

Cat equipment dealers have a serous supply of grade eight bolts at reasonable prices.

I am fortunate to have Albuquerque Bolt and Fastener. The 3100 is my second compete disassembly and restoration including all hardware. Every time I go to Albuquerque I stop by here with my list. Generally half the price or less than Home Cheapo and bettter quality. Is nice to be able to walk in to a place that has every possible nut or bolt you could need, and cheaper than anyone online. No minimums like the rest of the “Bolt Only” outlets
