Brakes question
Working on a 64 C10 with disks all around. I should only have two lines coming from the proportioning valve, correct? One for the front and one for the back and they both just tee off right? This truck had a bunch of stuff already done when it came to me and trying to figure out whats been done correctly and what hasn't is worse than doing it all myself in the first place.

Re: Brakes question
Is yours the adjustable type or the factory style fixed type? Most of the original style have 2 inlets from the master (front & rear) and 3 outlets (1 rear and 2 fronts). Both front lines will come out of the prop valve and go to each front caliper.
Does your valve have 2 inlets and 2 outlets? If it has 3 outlets, is one outlet plugged off? |

Show us a picture of what you have.

Re: Brakes question
It's from CPP if that helps but it has 3 outlets, one rear and two fronts. The top front one is plugged at the moment. What threw me off is the new hard line kit appears to have 3 lines that go up to the prop. valve.

Re: Brakes question
Look at post 26 page 2. It shows the prop valve and what each port is for.

Re: Brakes question
That's perfect Doug, thanks a lot. Should help give me a lot better idea of what goes where. The previous owner had the top port plugged and they were split out of just the bottom one. Now to get these brakes going and on to motor assembly.
