Howards Camshafts

Anyone use a Howards Cam? I would like to hear about them. They are very affordable. But you get what you pay for these days. Any feedback on their roller cams as well as their regular cams? Thanks.

Howards makes good stuff... I have one of their cams in my motor now. My spare motor has their timing set, roller lifters, and push rods, valves, retainers, etc. When I was involved more with circle track, the modified team i helped used lots of their product, no issues. Their somewhat local to me (60 miles), we had many custom ground cams from them. I (we) had real good luck with them.

Run what your comfortable with...

I highly recommend howards cams not only because I know Donnie Johansen (Howard's son), but because he knows his stuff when it comes to cams. I have never been disappointed with any of his cams.

I will be using their retro fit roller hyd. lifters since they are cheaper than any other brands out there.

Sounds like they are a good company!
