I use 78 Corvette wires. Perfect fit, as the Vettes used ramshorns and HEI.

TX- is that for the stock position for the wires, or the straight boot on the plugs? Thanks.

They are 90 degree ends. The wires are perfect length. They are long and run underneath the manifolds like they are supposed to. No danger of burning wires by running them over the valve covers and manifolds.

What mounting brackets are you asking about? Just run the wires from the HEI to the plugs just like the stock points wires were run.

GMC Pauls sells the manifold heat shields, the plug wire clips that go under the shields, the clips that go on the oil pan, and the clips that go on the back of the block.

Robb, I used a set for a 75 vette. Here are a couple of pics.

There is also a clip mounted to an oil pan bolt that would hold the wires up and out of the way.

I have run many sets of these wires on various trucks. I usually buy Napa and what I usually find is the shortest wire could be an inch longer and the longer wires are usually an inch or 2 longer than they need to be. But they work and my trucks were beaters. Otherwise custome cut and fit are the way to go for a show truck.

I believe the vette has a shield the wires ran in down low and back up to the plugs, don't know why the general did that. I did shorten them before installing the motor.

the 77 vette came with all the cap and all the wires hidden under stainless steel housings for a clean look. I used the wires and the lower housing from a 76 on my truck and it looks great. I never was a fan of the cover over the dizzy, never put it back on the vette after motor rebuild. I sure you guys can find some pics on the net.
