Looking for help with 72 Chevy P30 Step Van

I am working to get my 72 Chevy P30 step van with a Penn body in good dependable working condition. I am looking for anyone with experience with panel trucks!

Sorry for the delay in replying. Good one CG! I have attached 3 photos of how it currently looks with the exception that I have installed the windows on both sides of the box.

I'm not experienced with panel trucks or step vans but I like it. Looks like you have done very well without help.

What I really need help with now is replacing the dash. The photo shows what is installed for an instrument cluster. Anyone know exactly from what type of vehicle it comes from? I would like to replace it with the same one so I don't have to make a bunch of wiring changes!:banghead:

I think they also used the same gauges in some of the early school buses.

Big thanks to you too! I need to replace the back electrical sheet and will have to locate a replacement using the 63 - 65 Chevy Nova SS advice. I have looked at them and they are a true match! Thanks again.:mm:
