Looks straight, solid, and complete. And a great color. What to do? You tell us!

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban
Looks like a nice rust free truck!
|
Re: 1968 C10 Suburban
I know there is some rust but it's not bad.

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban
Nice find, enjoy it!

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban
Heck yes drive it and never look back!*
* That could be taken as a jab at those mirrors, but I honestly didn't mean it that way. Nope, I'm not saying they are crappy. I couldn't do that. Not here because we don't make such comments about other trucks. I wouldn't tell anyone what to do either. Not even if they asked "What to do?". Just wanted to keep that clear, ok? |

When I went to look at it the seller told me he was told everything was there. The back seat was in pieces in the back , some moldings had been removed from one side and were also in there. The inner door panels had been removed and were in the back as well, some poor repairs have been made to the considerably descent body. {these pictures are after I inventoried the contents of the back, took out two spare tires seat pieces , a box of parts and a box of trash , some body moldings and vacuumed out alot of debris}

Well I've replaced the master cylinder , rebuilt the carb and installed an air cleaner that can breathe, replaced the dimmer switch. I replaced the front seat slip covers and put the back seat together and put on a cover. I've installed some turn outs on the exhaust and replaced the rear tire and wheels with some newer rollers. (less weather checking)

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban
I think you need to keep finding those trucks and flip them to us! I live in the east coast rust belt.

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban
Selling my '67 stepside is bittersweet. In September would have been 24 yrs. since I bought it.

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban
I’m unclear on that front seat. Is that a suburban only item or is that a combination of parts?
I like it, just haven’t seen one like it. Thanks |
Re: 1968 C10 Suburban

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban
Thanks HO- I guess the console just didn’t look familiar to me.
The only ‘burbs I’ve seen with buckets were obvious swaps |

Re: 1968 C10 Suburban
Man, what a score on this thing! Congrats. It's way more solid than ours and I think that's the first one I've seen with buddy buckets still in it. Awesome!
