41 chevy truck frame
I purchased a 1941 Chevy truck cab and front clip but did not recieve a frame. What frame would fit this cab. I was thinking 70/71 but am being told they are too wide. I set it on a s10 frame but getting the front wheels in the wheel wells puts the radiator right next to engine (had to remove fan) which means I am going to have to reposition the engine . Please addvise, I have a 1941 chevy sedan frame and a 1950 3600 frame both stripped to rails but would rather buy a rolling chaisis from a junk yard that would be more modern than the ones I have.
Thanks any help is apprieciated |
Re: 41 chevy truck frame
These folks make kits for the s-10 chassis. Have never used it so I can't tell you anything about it.

Re: 41 chevy truck frame
The kits that are made by Ed at E-Z Swaps are VERY well engineered and
make it very easy to do....he took years and hours and hours of work to get it right....YES...He is a friend, but believe me....it is an outstanding kit Les in Minnesota |

Why not build your own.

Re: 41 chevy truck frame
S10 frame, up to 93, reg cab long bed, it has 117 wheel base, a 41 has 115, so pretty close, it will need some slicing and welding done but not a big deal. If you need more info, let me know.
