LS motors are everywhere man!! I got mine from http://www.specializedpartsplanet.com/ A 2006 5.3L / 4L60E with 58k and everything I needed, plus extra stuff I didn't need, delivered to Colorado for $2200. If you just need the engine they will do that too. Give em a call. Member menace121978 is just a few minutes away, so if they have something, he might even go check it out for you. This is the place he got his LQ9/4L80E also.

I went a head and emailed them tonight for a complete lq9 and 4l80 trans with less than 100,000 miles, and I'll see what happens

You could also try LKQ, they are competitive and are located in Hutchins, just south of you.

Re: lq9 on ebay

I just looked at LKQ and they have a 2005 6.0N code, from an Escalade for 1700, which wouldnt have the pcm, pedal or harness but you can get that.

and a 2008 6.0 from 1500 for $2000.00

LKQ in Hutchins, TX

Re: lq9 on ebay

I think I'm going to go ahead and get this motor http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/6-0-L...item2eaebc7d8e, I drove A ESCALADE today and wow it got some get and up and go so I can't wait anymore I know I can find one with a little less miles but o well

Re: lq9 on ebay

that doesnt look too bad buddy. ask them for the 3 piece covers too. it doesnt come with the wiring from the pedal to tac module because its entertwined with the interior harness from the factory and its hard to get it out clean. most dbw harness' will be the same though. i guess you never talked to Larry huh?

dont worry about the miles;) if it makes you feel any better thats exactly what mine has:lol:

flamingbig10 08-03-2010 09:41 AM

Re: lq9 on ebay

On the engine cover I'm going with a 1 piece cover from s&p performance and may switch to drive by cable, nope Larry never talked to me, once I get motor I'll tare it down to a long block to make sure everything is ok
