I Love this site!!
Every one is so friendly and helpful!

What I would like to know is I bought this red 1988 ¾ ton Chevy I was going to take the flatbed off my blue 1982 Chevy and put it on my new 1988! Some friends of mine tell me it will not look good on the 1988 that it looks better on the 1982! And that the frames are so different it would be too much work to do it!
I think it would look great!
Any input would be helpful!!
Thanks

me, id probaly leave the flatbed on the 82, cept a flatbed on a 88 would be pretty cool sense i havnt seen one done before, but it still just keep the flatbed on the 82 IMO

there are several of the 88 bodystyle trucks around here with flatbeds on them and they don't look bad at all........IMO, though, it will look better on the 82, just because i prefer the 82 bodystyle and don't really care for the 88's

Do what you want. Don't give into peer pressure!

You could get wild and weld on the bottom half of the box sides to the flat bed and you and your buddies will all have to be happy. Just an idea. Has anybody ever done that? I think it would be cool except for the fact you are ruining a box
