longhorn, cst, etc

i know these are different trim packages, but what all are they? are longhorns just lwb, or are they a special kind? any other trim package IDs would be helpful, too.

a longhorn is a truck of it's own, it has it's own model number apart from all the others.
A longhorn is a 3/4 ton or one ton fleet side truck with an 8 1/2 foot bed instead of an 8 foot like all the normal trucks. They were built up for the camper market, and made to handle the biggest slide in camper on the market back then.
They were made from march 11th of 68 untill the end of the run in 72.

So if I have a LWB 3/4 ton 4x4 K20 that runs good, but body VERY rusted, and can get a Longhorn body and frame, how difficult is the swap? I "was going to" swap the fenders, hood, cab and bed onto my K20, but was advised the Longhorn frma is narrower, and nothing will bolt up? Any comments from those of you who know?
Thanks, Carl

A longhorn frame isn't narrower...it IS taller, but the width is the same.
I know this becouse the bumper, fenders, core support and hood on my one ton longhorn were all on my old 69 SWB GMC.
