i am not a modeler' of any sort but surfing the web this morning i stumbled across this. and thought wow. how cool is this. this got me to wondering if this forum had a special place for such things. and to my surprise yes it does.

That is way cool! I so badly want to get into the RC 4x4 thing one of these days.
I wonder if they used this RC truck body on the one in the video? This is some cheap childs toy RC truck I ran across and bought just because I liked the way it looked. Yeah I've seen this guy on you tube before but not the chevy truck. It is very cool. This guy has some serious skills. Not to high jack but here's a vid of him making a 77 Ford from wood. It is amazing what this guy is doing from simple materials.

He has built himself a real nice collection. I noticed a comment from him on a RC forum where he said the weight of the wood bodies make the vehicles act more like the real thing. If you watch a couple of his videos, I believe he has a good point.
