Re: desktop dyno please!!!
Desk Top Dyno is crap. Usually way off. Contact Super73 or look at the link in my sig. Super has an excellent program that has proven to be within a few ponies. If i were to guess on it, 275-300.

Re: desktop dyno please!!!
i changed it some

Re: desktop dyno please!!!
Oh, didnt see the turbo. I would still try to get some 2.02 heads.
|
Re: desktop dyno please!!!
will they cut to that big
|
Re: desktop dyno please!!!
Yea almost all 350 heads will and im sure those will. You will probly be better off getting a $500 set of vortech heads then spending the money on those old heads.

Re: desktop dyno please!!!
kinda hard to run boost when you're already at like 10.51:1 on iron heads =/
|
Re: desktop dyno please!!!
they have 75cc chambers shouldnt that bring me down to about 9 to 1

Re: desktop dyno please!!!
I started building a engine profile for you, but, garbage in = garbage out.. Please take a look at this thread. I need all the info listed or it won't be near right..

Engine info
Bore - 4.060 Stroke - 3.480 Factory tolerances or set up more as a race motor? - factory tolerances Electric Water pump? - no Electric Fan? - yes Head data: *----* Intake and Exhaust Valve size - 1.94 1.50 *----* Head flow numbers (Please provide them or a link to MFG's website, I don't want to have to search for info. If these are stock heads, try to give me a casting or something) - 487 heads Compression ratio - 9 to 1 Type of intake (Single plain, dual plane, again link if you can find it). - edelbrock performer rpm dual plane http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...lds_main.shtml Carb or TB (Is it a vacum carb?) - 650 mighty demon blow through http://www.barrygrant.com/demon/default.aspx?page=14 Header Data: *----* Tube Diameter - 1 3/4 *----* Tube length to collector (this can be your best guess, but the more accurate, the better) - 30 in cam info: Link to MFG's web page or cam card would be best but.. Duration at .050" Total Lift and based on what rocker ratio Intake centerline LSA - i cant find anything on the cam so ill go with a diff one heres a lunati voodoo Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 284/292 Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 241/249 Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .525/.546 LSA/ICL: 110/106 Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd RPM Range: 2500-6600 What rocker are you using? -1.5 harland sharp Blower/turbo? - 70mm .80 ar 10 psi I need to know size and PSI you are running. Intercooler? Re: desktop dyno please!!!
I'll see what i can come up with, but you sure your headers are going to be 30" length? Where are you mounting the turbo?
487 heads? Sorry, not a big old school guy. Do you know any factory flow data? Are they similar to a 462 casting? 441? 882? These are heads that are preloaded. If not, I'll need flow numbers for .300 .500 and .600 |
Re: desktop dyno please!!!
umm i forgot about them being turbo headers i guess around 18
-at .100"-.200"-.300"-.400"-.500"-.600" valve lift -int-52-103-155-177-185-193 -exh-44-81-111-128-128-128 plus a little bowl work and a little combustion chamber smoothing |
Re: desktop dyno please!!!
