project draggin k5
well i went all the way to colorado to get this 78 chevy k5, it was originally 4x4 and converted to 2wd the crossmember has been Zed 3 1/2 inches and has belltech drop shackles and flip kit, original paint, and all the interior is still there, oh it only has 61k original miles, i am the second owner, have all the original windows stickers and glove box sticker, also the owners manual. today i rolled it into the shop took off the front clip to plate the rest of the frame, well i didnt get to plating but i did swap out the original 10 bolt rear for my 12 bolt out of another truck i own, i also took the flip kit out, only so i can mock up my motor and not worry about bangin the ground. im taking it to my friend joe at outlaw motorsports for a four link rear bag setup soon anyway. i will update with pics tomorrow, let me know what you think, thanks

Re: project draggin k5
Ditto..i was going to say it looked familiar from this web site.
Interesting on the frame hack though. With some more gusseting it looks to be a very feasable way to go. DW |

What a drop! I've never seen anyone do that before. Just curious to see how it goes into dips and speed bumps. Are you going to bag it as well?
