Leaf Spring Bushings - Poly

Need to replace the leaf spring bushings, due to a broken shackle, and seized shackle bolt (not to mention they're old and worn out).

Does anyone know if the energy suspension bushings require reuse of the outer metal sleeve from the old bushing? I know some do, and some don't.

want to make sure before i cut it out...

Thanks

Re: Leaf Spring Bushings - Poly

Their front control arm bushings require you to thoroughly clean and re-use the outer sleeves. https://www.energysuspensionparts.co...sion/17019.pdf
The inner leaf spring bushings are in the kit but they don't show outer bushings in the product pictures. The instructions say the outer bushings need to be removed and don't mention re-using them. Since they specifically mention re-using the sleeve in the control arm instructions I would say they don't intend you do the same on the leaf springs. https://www.energysuspensionparts.co...sion/17040.pdf

f this doesn't clarify the situation for you I would email their tech support to ask.
