I spent Saturday watching the racing from 9 AM 'til 11:30 PM. Good stuff, but here's one of my faves. Oh no, they didn't win anything, but this thing cooked.

These guys are from New York. (Bob- you know this truck? Yeah, I know it's a big state.) Great group of fellas.

I want you to notice the punkin in the front (3rd pic). Anyone count the lugs? (They told me the carrier's been removed.) I didn't get a picture, but there's a bumper as big as a tank on the back. Kinda like mine, only bigger.

They're running a 406. I don't know anything more about it. I'd love to ask you to guess their best time, but I can't give you enough info to make it fun.



I watched them run 11.12. Don't remember the trap speed.

That's awesome. I couldn't really tell from the pics, but did it have a cage in it?...it sorta looks like it in the 3rd pic.

Naw....the ultimate street sleeper still has to be the orange farm pizza truck that runs the low 10's with the canopy and the dog!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't remember seeing a cage. I believe they're not mandatory 'til 10s, IIRC from Regan's bedtime story.

Look real close in the 3rd pick, you can see the rear down bars in the window. You can also see the passanger side one in the 4rth pic going through the window rubber.

Yep, now I see- the pictures don't lie. I just don't remember them.

I think 11.49 you need at least a roll bar and 9 something for cage. I THINK!

lmao love the mudflaps and how the camper shell thing in the back flys open when he takes off I LOVE IT!

Yeah, that adds weight to the back of the truck and reduces drag on launch! :lol:


I know, that's what was so cool. Mind you, they removed the carrier, so it's not really 4wd, but so what, they ran low 11s on a sbc.
