model 68
Since you guys like pics of models of our trucks here are some pics of my 68 johnny lightning 1:18 chevy I got. I have only seen a few of these and got real lucky and found one at a flee market for a whopping $10! What sucked is the plastic base was broke when I took it out of the box, luckly the truck wasnt damaged. Thing is I never saw one with the country kids logo on the side. From what I have searched I am thinking it was originally sold thru tractor supply company. Enjoy.

Re: model 68
Andy, do you remember how much they were there? I know they are high on there toys. I was thinking maybe around 30 bucks by what they charge for most of there stuff. It says 2004 on the base so probably was 04.

Re: model 68
I wanna say closer to 40 bucks... the (now ex) wife went through the roof when I *asked for the money*....
I kinda remember the words "$40 for a ****ing TOY????" I blocked most of the stuff from that period of my life... so I may be off on the price. ;) |
Re: model 68
Some things, like prices of toy trucks shouted back at you by your ex,you never forget.

Re: model 68
$10 is a REAL good deal those are going for somewhere in the 50 buck range on Ebay!
I have one and didn't know what the Country Kids logo was all about..so that's Tractor Supply...we don't have them (at least not in So. Cal.) |
Re: model 68
Heck I have tractor supply out here, I get my bolts and paint from them, and I didnt see them. The only place I saw them, well a friend saw them, was at walmart a couple years back. He bought the 2 they had but wouldnt sell me one. Dang that is alot for them on ebay. I knew it was a good deal, just better from hereing from you guys.
