Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. My truck is a 72 my grandpa bought it new and passed it on to me when i was 13. that was nearly 7 years ago, and since then ive swapped in 1980 1 ton front and rears, put a new four speed in it, a new np205, put an 8 inch all spring skyjacker lift on it, thrown a powerlock in the front (has the gov lock rear) and it has 39 inch mickey thompsons. for the future, since im in school this all depends on how good my summer job is, but i want to finish rebuilding/hotrodding the 454 i just took apart yesterday get it in there, install my painless wiring harness, put a crossover steering in, and swap gears, plus some small stuff, the details that go with the motor, and maybe put a Th-400 in, but im not sure about that. it would be nice if i can get a cage in it to. ill try to get some pics, but i have no idea how to get them on the web.
thanks again for the welcome
Ryan

Howdy...

...from soggy western Washington. Sounds like a gr8 truck

Posting pics is easy, if you already have the pictures on your puter. Just hit the attch files button at the bottom of the post page. The size is limited, but the program will tell you if they are too large. There have been a lot of posting pic and resizing picture questions, make use of the search button at the top of the screen to find subjects you're interested in.

good luck, Scott

Booooooooo! Go Hawkeyes!!! JK, I just moved from SE Iowa to Alabama this last January. Weather is much nicer here in the winter and no salt and no rust. I just got a 72 Custom 20 2wd witha three speed and 350 and Eaton rear. Your truck sounds like a great truck, much better than mine, lol.
