Elcamino springs
I heard that elcamino springs would work to lower the rear on my 72 Anybody used them ,how much will they lower it and what years will work Thanks
i dont remember how much it lowers the rear but they do work. i think its the elcaminos around 70 that have the springs you need. i also think the springs from the front work too. it lowers it alot from what i hear.

I posted this same question on here about 68-72 chevelle springs. The best I could come up with was it would lower the rear about 4 inches. not sure on the front...

caprice springs up front.

Is that your truck? what else has been done tho the front suspension and are there any tire clearance issues?
its not my truck it belongs to a board member 2low72
She has drop spindles and the caprice springs. tires are 205/70/15 and they don't rub at all. ofcourse my inner wheel wells are cut out. she rides really smooth, but air bags are needed. the roads in abilene suck.
Could you measure from the ground to the top of the wheelwell for me? I am wondering how it compares to my truck I habe 2'' coils and 2.5'' spindles but I wand to go lower and dont want to use bags. And how much is it lowerd in the back? I really like that stance.
yeah no problem i'll do it tomorrow and get back to ya
GMC JUNKIE TOO, The front from the ground to the center of the wheel well is 2 ft. and the back is 2ft 1 in. the back has leaf springs. they are flipped. thats all i know. the guy i bought it from lowered it, and thats all he told me.

I was wondering, does it have a two piece drive shaft? If it does, does it vibrate?
yeah it's a two piece and no it doesn't.not sure why because i thought it would .
