OT Ride and Handling Help

I have a 93 Burb ( I know this is a 91 & under board ) but I thought You guys might be able to help.
My Burb rides like a boat. I want to put in new shocks for starters and want to know of any recommendations for shocks.
Are there any other easy mods to make it ride like a truck and not like my dad's Park Ave Buick
This truck has front and rear sway bars and supposedly a towing kit ( but I don't see a tranny cooler)

What does a towing package involve ?
Any help is appreciated.

I'm thinking of installing the Edlebrock shocks in mine. They sound like they are the ticket, but I dont have any experience...

After a bit of investigation, I found a broken swaybar mounting bolt on the driver side front. I fixed that and added 5psi to the rear tires and it drives much much better. I think new shocks will make it even better

I installed a set pf Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks in my '86 C10 Suburban about four years ago. I'm thrilled with how well they work! Where they really shine is on twisty roads and when towing.

I've been so impressed with them that I recently put a set on my '98 Jeep Wrangler. They work like a champ on the Jeep, too! No more getting thrown about like a rag doll...

They're pricey, but they do work as advertised. Good luck! :)

I'm running Bilstiens on my 88 and I am VERY impressed with them. Little pricy but it was worth it. Autozone can get them but it's a special order and takes a couple day's.

A rear sway bar is next on the list for mine. Couple companies make them. J.C. Whitney lists them. Helwig is the brand I been looking at.
