replace pittman arm and idle arm??

I'm putting in a lift kit and plan on replacing the following:

ball joints
tie rod ends

should I also replace the idler arm and pittman arm while I'm in there?? It's only about an extra $70-$80 for both. I don't want to replace if it makes no sense, but since I'm in there it would be easy to.

btw, it's on an '89 suburban 2wd with 115k miles on it.

Ya I would replace them but the pitman arm is a PITA you have to unbolt the steering box and swivil it back to get a puller on it.

???

I was able to yank my pitman pretty easy on my truck, but of course it's a '69. A Puller and patience is all that was required.

To answer your question I would replace them. Both have greasable joints just like your tie rods and ball joints. Might as well start off with a good steering system.
