free 454 heads

i have a pair of peanut port heads from a ~85 454 pickup. they have rusty water jackets so they need tanked otherwise in good condition. all have valves and springs, no studs or guideplates. you want, you pick up in medina ohio(just south of cleveland), free of charge.

you have anything else to give away? :-)
thats funny, I live in Doylestown...maybe 15-20 minutes from you.
I work in Wadsworth. Small world, isn't it?

i give so much stuff away... i got a 2wd short tailshaft th350 that slips 1-2 that you can have. i saw the post where you went out to PA to pick up a trans but i was too late to ask you to bring back the other ;) ive been a member since '02 but just recently started posting. most all my stuff is 88-98 i'm on my 4th one of those, i sold my 85 last winter to my buddy, bringing home a 90 2wd burb from atlanta in a few weeks to put a big block in.

i know doylestown, i used to coach cyo basketball and volleyball and we had alot of games at the little school there.

i'll dig them out and get casting #'s but i really dont want to ship them as i dont think they are worth the shipping cost.

if you still have the heads, could you check the #'s? i may be interested.

thanks

yeah i got em out the other day. one thing is i noticed i need to take the valves out of them for my large ovals. i have some pitting on the intake valves on my good heads and the ones in the peanut ports look new so i'm going to swap them over after i buy my rebuild kit(so i can do the seals too).

might be a month before i get to it.

hey its all cool...post the casting #'s and pm when you get 'er done, and I may pick them up! thanks
