The drive shaft, you will just have to measure. The tranny will go, but you will have to get one of those electronic lock up kits for the tranny. SUMMIT and JEGS both have the kits and they are not that bad in price.

cool.... would anyone happen to have a partnumber for that??? that would be awesome...thanks

all i use is a toggle switch to lock up the TQ when ever the truck is in over drive

Go to a drive shaft specialist & they will fix this problem for you.
I have put a TH400 instead of a TH700R4 in a Burb , I took the front part of the two pieces driveshaft coming from the C-10 where the TH400 comes from , C-10 that I was parting out , let it lengthen and the sliding part of the front shaft will be fitted on the RR axle yoke... I was a little frightened by my decision , but I saw that such drive shafts are installed on 4WD Blazers ( and I presume on 4WD Burbs & trucks either ) , without any problem I did it that way because I didn't have a bracket to hold the two piece driveshaft on my Burb's frame the Baron |
Oooops !
forgot to say : the lenghtening & balancing works on my drive shaft costed me 200€ , with a one year warranty. the Baron |
