Floor shifters for our 3 speed?
 
does anyone know who makes a floor shifter to replace our column shifter?
has anyone installed one
what are you opinions of the shifter in regards to spacing from the dash to seats?

autozone and oreilly sell cheap floor shfiters for 3-speeds. look at summitracing.com and jegs.com for some different choices. i have no idea how far back it goes tho

I got a Hurst Indy Shift for mine from Summit. Don't forget to order a boot, as that (least with the Hurst) is not part of the kit. It runs about the same as the cheaper brands. I like mine a whole lot more that the tree shifter.

The seats are stock for a 67-68 cst truck. Very comfy too.

The center folds down into an armrest, or you can flip everything up for a storage compartment. I can post a couple more pics if johnny outdoors doesn't mind since it is his thread on shifters.

Back in the sixties we would use the Hurst, it was the only one available. You can also swap the linkage around and make it shift backwards, we liked playing mind games. Pattern was
