No Full size 2wd Blazers were built from 1983-1991. I don't know about the after body change. It's possible and in fact probable. The Fulls size Blazer was built on the Yukon platform and 2wd was an option on those. I think 94 was the last year "Blazer" appeared on a full size.

Let me also clear up that the body did not change on anything but trucks in 88. The Sub, Big Blazer and Crews all ran the old body style through 91 to full fill their contract with the ARMY to supply vehicles and parts for 10 years.

1995 was the first year for a 2WD 4 door Tahoe, 1996 was the first year for a 2WD 2 door Tahoe. All this ended for the 2 doors in 1999.
