Crewcab pics

I found a few construction pics of that two tone short bed crewcab that's been posted. It was built by the crew at Custom Concepts It looks like they got a little carried away with the body drop....

It had already been body dropped when they got it. I think Silver Star Customs is responsible for that floor.

heck they should make custom doors that open up at the same level as the floor bottom...

(damn with ideas like this.... someone needs to hire me  )

I was wondering what the story was. Most everything I have seen come out of Custom Concepts shop looks pretty nice. This thing looks good but the body drop looks like a hack job.... :(

Is this a "before" shot from the Silver Star site?

You're getting too old, lol. I think it looks real good although I am more of a solid color kind of guy. Mine is coming apart this winter to in order to lay frame and rocker.

I DEFINATELY like the after pic a lot better. :metal:

The doors and quarters look like bondo sculptures in the first pics. It is a wonder they got it as straight as they did. Someone must not have fingerprints as much blocking as they would have to do on that.....

the first pics are the "after" pics, the last pic is the "before". they took a "show truck" and are making it better.

Yeah I know I'm getting old, but give my a break. I think the truck looks bad @ss in the current status pics. I was drooling all over it till I saw how bad the body drop killed the interior space.

There are much better ways to get these trucks to lay rocker. That much body drop is lame...
