Rear A/C?

My 72 burb has rear a/c but it just has a vent in the back, while the other ones I've seen have a tunnel that go all the way back to the rear vent. How does mine work? Is there like hoses and stuff that go above the headliner? Heres a pic of what most burbs w/rear a/c look like.

I think the pic you posted is from a '71 or earlier. My '71 looks like that. The '72s were, as you said, just at the back. My hoses run under the truck to the left side and into the rear quarter, up to the top. Michael

exactly what he said. 72 was the only year that had rear a/C just in the back of the truck. Reason being is the 72 has dash A/C vents where as the 67-71 burbs relied on the over head A/C to do the cooling in the front. They had a standard dash board with no A/C vents in it, and a non-A/C truck heater panel in the dash.
