Oh yeah, 50's rock...... :metal:

Palf70Step 06-16-2004 07:27 PM

The Ulitmate car!!:metal:...in my opinion. 55's Rule.
Your doing a great job on it.

nitne 06-17-2004 02:54 PM

Ohh Man, I just went back and looked at the photos, I didn't even see the flames in that one photo. That's great, I love when you look at a project like that, everytime you look closer you see something else. That's just a sick looking ride.

Thats a bad ass car, awesome work done to it. The Tri-Five (and all 50's cars/trucks for that matter) where some of the best automobiles ever made. My friend has a blue & white 55 with a LS1 that he shows in the local car shows. Also a guy my grandpa knows has a red & white 55.

Man, that is absolutely beautiful! Where did the bowtie accents on the front marker lights and the taillights come from?

ZOOMY 09-04-2004 12:55 AM

frame splice

Do you have any pix of the frame splice ?.......Thanks.........Zoomy

Looks beautiful...the only thing I don't like is the steering wheel, that black just looks out of place. But then again...it could be that it's still missing the rest of the interior.

Great work!

Excuse my ignorance but what are the two round louvered "deals" on each side of the in-dash stereo???

70c10 09-10-2004 12:34 PM

Looks like AC vents.

KP1972 09-10-2004 01:01 PM

Bet you are right, Jim. Arizona........ and looks like a compressor opposite the alternator. I just have never seen vents like those before. Never too old to learn, I guess!
