hi everyone im dave a newbie here.. i just bought my first truck to restore.. ive been into late model trucks and i got bored with them as well as i have been dreaming of building a classic truck up.. i just bought a 1967 gmc step side!! i have alot of plans for it and im hoping some of you can help me out with info and finding parts.. first off does anyone know of a place where i can get one of those nice thick books with all the parts for just this year truck.. i see them on horse power tv all the time and i forget to write it down!! thanks for your help

What part of reading are you from?I am from Beckersville,near Maple Grove.I live outside of Downingtown now.Welcome to the board.LMC has a good catolog to see pics of the parts,but the vendors on here almost always have better prices.

my plans are to start out doing the body work and get it in primer.. then i want to start with the motor i have a 350 crate motor and turbo 350 trans sitting around to start out. but my wish is to have a 454 in it someday.. next maybe the suspension.. i want to pt a late model bed on it.. maybe some nice wheels.. i saw a truck just like it on tv and that was it i put my old truck up for sale and started looking for this truck... heres a picture of what it might be close to when im done http://www.phrtv.com/models/229804/229804-5.jpg
