Hein-Werner Floor Jack?
Have a H-W 1 1/2 ton floor jack, Model WS, Part Code 05275 labled Waukesha, WIS USA...Ajax, Ontario Canada. Am trying to find schematic and rebuild parts for the cylindewr and valve. I know I can purchase imports for less but this has been a good jack and I'd like to keep it going if possible. Thanks in advance for any help. Gary

Try finding the company on one of the online yellow pages. They have listed the city and if they are still in bussiness they will probably have a parts dept. or maybe tech support who can help you.
If this fails the library or a local bussiness who you are freindly with may have a Thomas Register that will list them. This may work for your winch as well. Maybe Thomas has a web site? If this fails there may still be hope as long as the metal parts aren't worn out. Any local Hydralics shop should have o-rings quad rings and seals for the cyl and valve. ------------------ Deland does Chevys 68Chevy panel(LIZ) "A man and his truck,it's a beautiful thing" "I have the body of a god, unfortunately it's Budda" [This message has been edited by PanelDeland (edited February 16, 2002).] |
PanelDeLand, Thanks for the help...I happen to have access to a set of Thomas Registries but never thought of using them. Thanks again!

Re: Hein-Werner Floor Jack?
as long as the cylinder isn't scored to bad you just pull it apart and replace the o rings and seal. the ram kits are pretty much generic. i couldn't get one for mine because the cylinder was gouged. usually you can just mic the exposed part of the cylinder, look for the kit with the right seal and everything else fits. if that doesn't work you'll already have apart so you can mic everything for parts.
hein isnt good. theyr'e great. i had an old hein hoist that finally gave up the other day. i had it for 15 years and who know how long the po had it. i decided to go with atd because hein wanted almost 3gran for a new hoist. plus i dont really need an 8ton hoist. |
