1 Attachment(s)
Are there cowlings out there with no antenna hole ar do they have a plate to stick in it. i don't have a welder to fill the hole with, and need to do something because i have a french antenna where the fuel filler was..Thanks

If you can find the cowl off a truck that was radio delete, it will not have an antenna hole. I had one, but sold it for some good money at the portland swap meet last spring.

They're pretty rare and usually bring some pretty good $$$ but they're out there.
|
Then it might just be cheaper to have it welded? i guess i'll go that route i know what kind a price rare stuff can bring. and i not looking to spend a whole lot on this part. if i was restoring to original then i would. thanks for the input

i actually have one from a 69 but someone drilled a hole in it for an antenna
|
I've got one, but it is going on my blazer. Before I found it I was planning on welding the hole, shouldn't be too hard.
Good luck, Rg |
I ALSO WAS LUCKY AND FOUND ONE, GOING ON MY BLAZER PROJECT UNLESS
THE ONE THAT COMES WITH IT IS THE SAME AS MINE, IF SO MINE WOULD B 4 SALE, CHECK BACK IN A WEEK OR 2 FOR THE VERDICT, I HOPE :banghead: |
