radiator for big block, mine blew hard......
radiator blewout comin `home, is this a standard big block radiator or not? how much do new ones run?????? be gental. the sodder on there is from the last time she sprung a leak and I took care of it....

I had my radiator recored for under $200. May have been quite a bit less but I don't remember. It pretty much makes it new though. Check with a local shop. The guy that did mine made sure the the factory tags made it through the whole process in good shape.

I bought my big block 4 core radiator from that radiator store on ebay (can't remember the exact name, but do a search for 67-72 chevy radiator and they will turn up). It cost 152 to my door. They only use next day air delivery, so you can have it tomorrow.
They have like 10000 plus positive feedback. I am very happy with mine. |
I have also purchased from the RAdiator Barn, www.radiatorbarn.com . I think it was $164 including the shipping. For some reason they don't have big blocks listed in the later models. I think I used 1969 for the year and they had the 396 there to select.

if you can afford it then i suggest a griffin aluminum radiator, my dad had one in his old vette and they are in my opinion by far the best out there
